Location is really good which close to high way, gas station and stores. 10-15minutes drive to a lot of shopping malls and outlet. Staff is pretty efficient at check in and check out.
Staff (an old lady looks like a manager etc) at breakfast is really rude. Breakfast ends at 9:30am which I understand, but she does not even allow me to enter the room for some hot water because she was asking some other staff to tidy the breakfast room etc. I think she should be fired for such as poor customer service skills.
The outside of the building looks ok, but very deceiving.
We went up to the room, after booking online; the room was disgusting. We didnt even want to stay, so we did not stay. There were stains on the sheets, and the decor consisted of garage sale furniture, that I wouldnt dream of sitting on. To make a long story short, they charged me for a room I did not even use and would not credit or refund or anything. Do not recommend this motel.
The price was good for the area.
Seriously only stay at this hotel if you can't afford anything else in the area. The pictures on line are very misleading. The rooms are tiny with absolutely zero amenities. It was fairly clean but the bed and pillows were like bricks. The staff was ok and they did take care of a non functioning toilet right away. Their idea of a handicapped room was taking the door off the bathroom and affixing handles around the tub. The room was so small a wheelchair did not fit between either wall and the bed.
Great rate - felt safe and the room was clean.
Spent 1 1/2 hours trying to get on the internet. Call to desk got the reply - just search for the strongest signal. Not real helpful and because of this issue, will think twice before staying there again.
Best priced in the area, right off I-290 and within 20 minutes from Niagara Falls.
The building is old, some of the fixtures need repair. The breakfast area and rooms in general are very small and cramped for space.
Fortunately we just needed someplace to keep our stuff, sleep and shower. We did not spend anymore time in the room than arriving after 11 pm both nights we stayed, showering in the morning and leaving before 8:30 am - it was fine for two adults to do just that. For us, the location was fantastic. The air conditioning worked terrific in our room!
The room is very very small, don't plan on "hanging out" in it. Also - the breakfast area is ridiculously small, one family and one couple and it is over capacity. Since the rooms are so small, there's not any room to take breakfast back and eat there. We ended up going to McDonald's for breakfast both mornings because there was no room for us to eat! It is also a very bare bones breakfast. Make sure you factor this in to the "budget" price. We also had to ask for shampoo - there was none in the room.
That a room was available so I did not have drive fo 2 hours to get home and the make a return trip 12 hours later,Liked the fact that there ins fere wireless internet access and phone service to Canada..
The bed needs to be thrashed .The pillows need to be thrashed .No lamps on nightstands was not something I had ever seen before.
The room was very, very small for $105, plus it was dirty. Linens were slightly spotted, walls looked like they hadn't been washed in quite a while, cobwebs in corners. We were very, very dissappointed. We stayed a little further from the airport to get a cheaper rate (not that $105 is cheap), the distance didn't bother us but the fact that we paid over $100 for something that was clearly worth about $40 did. I would never, ever recommend this hotel to anyone.
The clerk at check-in was friendly. They had a first aid kit available when my husband sliced open his finger. Bathroom was clean. There was a safe in the room.
The bed was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood... at 8 months pregnant, if they hadn't been willing to give me extra pillows, we would have had to go home and forget the whole weekend away. Rooms are small. There was a red stain on the floor next to the bed.
I thought the room was dated. The bathroom sink was cracked and stained. The bathtub was somewhat dirty. The room had a smell like smoking even though the room was non-smoking. The mattress was not fully covered with a sheet enclosure with a fitted sheet over it. The complimentary breakfast area was poor. There was no decaf coffee except instant. Very poor accommodations.
The Microtel was very convenient to my family in Tonawanda, and the facility is also close to a major highway and provided easy access.
The proximity to the major highway was noisy. The towels at the hotel were of poor quality and should be changed.
Pretty good hotel for the money. No complaints. Was a little tough to find at night but once we did get there staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious enough, and breakfast wasn't bad at all.
Location .... wasn't sure car was safe
Very easy to find, very comfortable for the price. Staff extremely friendly.
